We usually take the top three vote getters in each preliminary thread for the final voting - plus the next highest vote getter to make it 10 photos.
I am pleased to show you the 10 finalists, and tell you that in the run-off the Petroglyph National Monument, New Mexico prevailed
BUT at the very end
the Rocky Mountain Reflects ended up to be the 10th one having the highest vote count by one vote. So they both got in for the finals.
Here they are:
Please vote, keep them kicked, and enjoy.
We love your comments.

I want every one of these framed and on my wall so I can pretend that I'm vacationing in each park. Every last one of these photos is amazing!

Without the impact of people.
Nature is how to make it great.

(15,723 posts)That's why we need the parks. To show us what is possible without human destruction and pollution.
I'm enjoying the clear skies in northern New England without all of the contrails of jets carrying people who think they are important, or who have money and time to waste.

(15,293 posts)Finally went for the Petrograph.
Love the deep sharp focus from the 'graphs all the way to the mountains. The rhythym of the mid hill, to mountains, to the clouds above.
There was wonderful stuff in all three original posts.
Here also love the composition of the "steam rising".
So busy looking at the tree branches of Death Valley didn't notice the sunrise glow on the mountains in the distance. Lovely.
Spring in The Tetons was another favorite. Lovely contrast of bright yellow flowers in the he front and cool blues of the Tetons in the backgroubd.
Big Bend. Around what was your exposure if you remember?
All are quite nice in their own ways. 👍
