Biden/Harris on Ohio ballot?

Ohio officials rejected a plan from Democrats to get President Joe Biden on the November ballot after the party scheduled its convention past a state election deadline.

Secretary of State Frank LaRose warned Ohio Democrats earlier this month that Biden is at risk of not making the Nov. 5 ballot. State law requires officials to certify the ballot 90 days before an election ? which is Aug. 7 this year ? but the president won't officially be nominated until the Democratic National Convention on Aug. 19.

indicating that the SCOTUS Colorado ruling could override the various state deadlines. Sure hope Biden has an alternative plan. This is a time sensitive issue and I don’t trust SCOTUS

Not saying Ohio is deep red, but it's more Red now then people want to believe it is..

This still won't effect him winning cause tbh, he probably wasn't going to win Ohio.

If Biden won Ohio.. He didn't win in 2020, Ryan didn't win in 2022..

I don't think he gets beat bad, but Ohio IMO is a red state right now.

Cuyahoga (liberal) turnout. He ran like he did for his congressional race which just didn't work. We won both Obama terms. And Biden has done a great deal for Ohio. Also, Roe is a big issue here. I think it is possible. We may be surprised in the fall...in a good way.

TFG won Ohio by eight points last time around despite polling showing the race neck and neck in that state. This year the most optimistic poll shows us down by 9.

Keeping Biden off the ballot isn't about helping Trump win the state. It's about locking up a senate seat by taking the top of the ticket off the ballot - and possibly helping with the popular vote by knocking a couple million Democrats off the count.

service in my area has gotten so bad I would not trust the post office to get my ballot to the county office on time. Would not trust voting online either. Way past time for Dejoy to go. Even some republican rep. in my area are working with my democratic representative in D.C. encouraging the postal board to fire him.

for after the deadline in any state. I wish that person would step forward and take a bow because somebody is responsible for that decision.

Are these states seriously going to deny a sitting President Of The United States have his name on the ballot over a technicality??

Just get the delegates on a zoom call and hold the nomination then. It looks like the last presidential primary is on June 8th. At any point after that you can hold the nomination, then just do it again for the cameras at the convention.

We didn't really have a convention in person in 2020, so it's not like we don't know how to hold the vote remotely.

Don't try to fight the Ohio legislature or count of SCOTUS. Move the nomination to zoom and get the paperwork in before the deadlines.
