Trump 'Volcanically Angry' About Sketch Artist and Articles About Him Falling Sleep

Trump ‘Volcanically Angry’ About Sketch Artist and Articles About Him Falling Sleep
by Carl Gibson | April 21, 2024 - 6:18am

— from Alternet

snip//

According to Rolling Stone reporter Asawin Suebsaeng, Trump is convinced the courtroom sketch artist is "out to get him," complaining that some of the images the artist produced "were likely drawn to make fun of him."

"One such sketch captured Trump snoozing, with his eyes closed and head tilted," Suebsaeng wrote.

Suebsaeng also reports that Trump is "volcanically angry" about the various reports that emerged in which he was apparently sleeping intermittently during court proceedings. The New York Times' Maggie Haberman — who provided much of the paper's coverage of Trump during his time in the White House — reported earlier this week that he couldn't stay awake for the entirety of jury selection several days this week.

"He appeared to be asleep,” Haberman told CNN. “He didn’t pay attention to a note his lawyer passed him. His jaw kept falling on his chest, and his mouth kept going slack.”

Rolling Stone reported that, according to one unnamed source, the former president's anger is "maxed out, even for him." Suebsaeng wrote that Haberman's report provoked "an irate denial from Trump’s campaign and reigniting the former president’s antipathy towards Haberman."

"The resentment lasted the entire week, the sources add. It did not help Trump’s denial that he continued to doze off while seated in the Manhattan courtroom throughout the rest of the week," Suebsaeng wrote. "Despite his dozing being widely reported, the former president has laid much of the blame for the detail going viral at Haberman’s feet. He was even observed glaring at her on Monday as he exited the courtroom following her CNN appearance."

The mother fucker is in a large way responsible for the 14 million C-19 deaths worldwide. Real #s. 8 million diagnosed
deaths, ? #s died w/out being diagnosed, and @ least 1/2 to 1 million dead because they couldn’t get medical care because
it was tied up treating C-19 cases. Trump is a murderer on a massive scale. No need for a global pandemic task force,
the epidemiologist on the ground in Wahaun, the stock piles of PPE we had that Kushner sent to China (he and Donny
owed them money), a COVID test kit that worked, or just the truth.

It's a stimulant and enhancer drug. If you're happy when you take it, it makes you happier. If you're nervous and paranoid when you take it, it makes you more nervous and paranoid. If you're angry, it makes you angrier.

At a certain point of coke usage, paranoia and volcanic anger become the addict's default setting. Violence is never far behind then.

Cocaine destroyed a man I once loved. It was reaching the perpetual paranoid and angry stage that made me cut my losses and move on. Watching that downward spiral forming and fomenting, up close and personal, and havingno power at all to change it, was as horrifying to behold as it was to endure.

You know what’s going to have to happen is deputizing the linebackers for the New York Giants as “special bailiffs” to be in court on the day his sentence is read. Trump will go down in history as not only the first former president to go to prison for his crimes, but the first to be tackled by NFL defenders to keep him from overturning tables and throwing furniture.

You could say that" Sleep Don" in a courtroom easily Trumps "Sleep Joe" anywhere, anytime, anyplace.

For those who may not remember, Bush II was often portrayed as a chimp (before 9/11 rewrote his image). Still a chimp but far better than the trumpanzee we got later.

... a petulant child unaccustomed to anyone being legally empowered to impose restraint on his malicious behavior. Escalating his boorish antics is the only response that gives him any satisfaction, even though he's digging his own grave deeper and deeper. Metaphorically speaking, of course. Heh, heh, heh. Would that it were literal.

Glad he thinks we are trying to be funny. It's not funny, it's part of a personality type that should never be near the white house again.

80. I believe absolutely that Donald Trump is too dangerous to our very social, economic and moral fabric to be anywhere but

in prison, it does provoke some compassion watching his pride being assailed on all sides as his world folds in around him.

I had a counseling professor in grad school who told us that people who have personality disorders (and I believe it is well established that Trump has narcissistic personality disorder) have what she called 'bent frames.' They cannot be cured, but there is some hope through medication.

Trump is on a long and painful slide to obscurity and eventual imprisonment, if he lives that long due to poor health. No adderoll, no one to clean up after accidents, no real significance except the basic significance we all share as human beings.

He has made poor choices his whole life, and my hope is that he may learn the spirit lessons he needs to learn from the suffering he is enduring now and will endure throughout the rest of his life. The Buddhists tell us that patiently enduring such suffering with the question, "What can I learn from this?" is the way we can incinerate our defilements. That is such a nice term.

The problem is he is so utterly defiled he may take many lifetimes to cleanse the stains on his spirit.

But, it will be good for the rest of us when he is finally convicted and jailed, because compassion aside, the man in very, very dangerous.

It’s probably a personal failing of mine that I can’t muster much compassion for him or his soul. Generally, I’m pretty forgiving but this guy’s just so awful.

Described him perfectly. A very very evil person. Hopefully during this trial, people get to see that more and more of who he is and as we all know this is the last person that should ever be elected dog catcher, let alone anything higher than that.

Seriously. He looks to me like an old man who appears to be haggard, sick, and on the edge of collapse.

Note: I'm 80 and appear old and haggard until I have a shower and consume my first vat of coffee.
