As Students Protest For Palestine, the Ghosts of UM’s Past Rise Again

...

In Oxford on Thursday, pro-Palestine protesters chanted “Free Palestine” and “Disclose, divest, we will not stop, we will not rest” as counter protesters threw food items, water bottles, and styrofoam cups. Jaylin Smith, a graduate student at the university, was the media contact for the group calling themselves UM For Palestine.

“At a university which promotes diversity, equity and inclusivity, I’m standing for my right to free speech and getting things thrown at me, and officers are putting their hands on me to move me back,” Smith said.

“Somebody’s gotta stand up, and it’s not always gonna be our Palestinian students,” Smith continued. “It takes our white, our Black, our Brown, our Asian students to stand up for everybody. Injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere.”

Unimaginable that he would feel so safe, expressing that vile message.

Sorry about all the typos, not sure how I missed all that, fixed now.

A better term would be that he **^ed around and now he’s at the found out stage. No place to hide for this racist turd. His dad’s got a rap sheet, including multiple DUIs and a failure to appear. The dingleberry didn’t fall far from the ass**** in this case.

"Our country has changed, and while any racial discrimination in voting is too much, Congress must ensure that the legislation it passes to remedy that problem speaks to current conditions."

Chief Justice John Roberts made that statement on June 25, 2013, during the Supreme Court's ruling on the case Shelby County v. Holder.

I don't believe this country has changed as much as Roberts imagines it has.

when Roberts arrived in Washington to try to dismantle it. He clerked for William Rehnquist who as a younger man had harassed black and hispanic voters waiting in line to vote in Arizona. This is part of the reason I call the republican party White Lives Matter First.

But I'm afraid they'll just be courted to join the Federalist Society, The Brotherhood, Opus Dei, CNP, etc.

Wish those self-serving institutions such as the American Bar Association would actually start to filter out this type of scum when they apply for law licenses instead of helping to reward them.

Being so young, and in college, I assume they're worried about their future employment and the background google search that prospective employers will be doing.
