Put together, these incidents—MTG’s personal insults, Gov. Abbott’s political pardon, and Mrs. Alito’s alleged, imprudent political statement—and you can see that Trump’s norm-breaking behavior has infected a broad swath of elites on the American right.

Trumpism is mean. It mocks people’s looks. It hurls racist tropes. It refuses to apologize. It uses power to reward friends and punish enemies. It prioritizes settling personal scores over sacrificing for institutions.

These are the fruits of Trump. And after just four years of his presidency, Trump’s worldview has infected almost all areas of the American right, as we have become increasingly inured to Trumpism.

Imagine what things will be like if he gets another four.

or how much the Federalist society and its RWNJ judges have allowed gerrymandering and citizens united to better hide Russian and other foreign money

and of course extreme gerrymandering so that 90% of the house of representatives are guaranteed a walkover in the general election if they get through a primary -- primaries in which the more whackadodle neonazi white supremacist you are the more likely you are to get through the R primary...

add to that ZERO accountability for Rethugs ever -- I'm looking at you Congress of the late 80s that did not impeach and remove Reagan when they found out in 1986 or 1987 that they had proof of the money for hostages deal brokered by Baker, because Reagan was a lame duck in his last two years. That gave us W and the pardons for all those criminals.
