A good friend of mine has cut all ties with his family, with good reason.
His immediate family are assholes, to put it mildly.
His Father, who divorced one wife and the other died after divorcing him, died last October of a stroke.
His drug addict younger sister OD'd and died a couple months ago.
My friend's nephew, who doesn't like the family a bit, filled in my friend on his family.
I just saw in GD a post about a little brother who died 2 years ago, and the poster just recently found out about it.
In my own family, I have a sibling who will probably OD herself, the sibling refuses to get help.
