When I tuned in, this looked like the debate on an appropriations bill or some other "house business" thing...and that as soon as Inslee finished and Hinchey began, I immediately assumed he was on GOOP time. I typed too fast and then started hearing what Hinchey had to say...first, I was very impressed with his passion and then realized the Democrats are taking the floor and using the C-SPAN cameras for some real public service.

Here's hoping more DUers are watching...even better...I'm trying to call my Congresswoman to see if she'll come on down and offer her two cents. It'd be good to see other Democrats do the same. This surely beats watching Wolfie or the other spinmeisters on the other channels.

I hope they keep this up for a while.
