I say this is Cultcraft 101 brought to you by Rev. Sun Myung Moon who has accumulated billions and mastered mob manipulation through his own cult over the last 30 years. If Bushco didn't tap his expertise in culling the fundie-rapture crowd to jump start his reign... well, they'd be crazier than I already think they are.
