Exposing the Myths: One by One
Edited on Sat May-21-05 09:30 AM by TruthIsAll
The naysayers have been very prolific myth promoters.

But we keep knocking them out with the facts.
Now they are left with rBr, the Mother of All Feeble Liepothesis Myths, which is being thoroughly debunked by USCV and informed DUers.

Here's a timeline of threads which refute the myths.

Myth:
The Final National Exit Poll (13660 respondents) said Bush won.
Of course it did. Mitofsky matched the final 613 respondents to the corrupt recorded votes. The first 13047 respondents said they voted for Kerry. As did the first 11027 and the first 8349.

2. I especially laff at "There is no hard evidence of fraud"
when what is meant is "There is no easy evidence of fraud." If you have to think too much (any) then it's too hard.

For all with eyes to see, see!

This is it. The election fraud story is in the public awareness. A full 50% of last years voters have a huge stake in this because their votes were stolen!. That's a pretty good audience and they know something stinks. CM (corporate media) can sit on it forever. All we need to do is convert Carter or some top DEM and we're rokken.

Anyone interested in the future of democracy should use this as an invaluable resource to combat the nay-sayers, deniers, and quibblers.

It's time for the eFd (enthusiastic Fraud deniers) to stand down, take a hike, or join the effort.

Great work!

The cover up by the corporate media, the Blair memo, the mess in Iraq, the ELECTION THEFT.Why on earth would you want to assist in covering up this type of corruption.

You can't possibly believe that everything is moving in the right direction in the great US of A, If you care about our kids fighting in Iraq, and the USA, please don't fight us, join us or stand down.

10. Yup, I love that "invisible" Bush/Cheney campaign to get out the...
...vote, and have many fantasies about it. Cheney flew to Hawaii two days before the election, because, they said, Hawaii was up for grabs. (Real purpose? Possibly related to the "terrorist alert" backup plan, should all else fail.) On that long plane ride back and forth across the Pacific Ocean, I imagine Dick Cheney making phone calls to all those true believers in Hawaii (?!) and in other states--like those folks in the Baptist Church in Waynesville who threw all the Democrats out of the congregation--suggesting just what they could do to prevent Democrats, Nader voters, Green voters, a zillion new voters, independent voters, black voters, student voters, Native American voters, and errant Republicans, from voting for Kerry. Threaten them with expulsion from their church. Call them the night before and tell them they're going back to jail. Short them on voting machines. Challenge their voting status. Send them to the wrong precinct. Shred their voter registration cards. "Lose" 50,000 of their absentee ballots. And leave the rest to us.

I would like to have been a fly on the wall of the airplane.

----

It wasn't a "get out the vote" campaign. It was a "get the voter" campaign. And it wasn't all that "invisible."

I'm glad to know that you and so many others aren't giving up the fight. This is my 1000th post-YIPPEE!-and it was the stolen election that brought me here to DU in the first place. This particular forum means a lot to me because the dedication and commitment shown here sustained me and kept me going during a very dark time. I truly don't know what I would have done without this forum and the hope that exists here! Every one here working on voting reform is awesome and inspiring! Thanks to all for your hard work and for not giving up!
