"Steve Scalise says House Republicans are now drafting articles of impeachment against Biden "..........

Skeptical or not--this is --mean, stupid - damn!!

-damn.

can't make it up -- with Comer's investigation fizzled out, Steve Scalise says House Republicans are now drafting articles of impeachment against Biden for not supporting Israel staunchly enough. Note that even Varney is skeptical.

That now appears inevitable. And with this, they won't get the votes. The Democrats putting down MTG's rebellion against Johnson ended any hope the GOP will get a majority of vote in the house now for anything. There will be several who will step up and cut this down.

Expect both parties to wobble on both sides of this issue. For example this week the White House putting limits on military aid to Israel and warning Netanyahu against Rafa invasion.

I think politically for the elections it's a wash. A few voters will change their minds but a few voters will change their minds in the opposite direction. Israel is not the issue. Democracy is the issue. Day One Dictator is the issue.

For example, on June 7, 1981, less than six months after Reagan took office, Israel launched a surprise bombing raid on the Iraqi nuclear reactor at Osirak, and, in so doing, violated the airspace of Saudi Arabia and Jordan. Reagan not only supported UNSC Resolution 487, which condemned the attack, but he also criticized the raid publicly and suspended the delivery of advanced F-16 fighter jets to Israel.

Democrats just lined up to save the Speaker from a boatload of annoyance, and save his party from an embarrassing spectacle. And many Republicans are tired of being the party that can't do anything but hold endless, meaningless hearings. There should be some backlash from within Republican ranks. I hope.

The House republicans have proven themselves to be witless, feckless, and hopeless when it comes to handling the levers of power. This is just another pathetic exercise in wasting time and money. I seriously doubt they can get enough of their own caucus to sign on to this waste of time to make it happen. Of course the Senate will crush this wet dream in about 32 seconds.
