It's easy to hate the Trumps. They ask for it almost everyday.

...but I'm relieved this young man didn't make the mistake of allowing himself to be used by the republican party.

It would absolutely be the death of him. He'd get eaten alive from so many angles that it would be pathetic and so unfortunate.

I've watched him from afar, enduring this sick family- and whatever his views or intentions, it's good to see him step back from this life-defining leap into republican MAGA politics.

I really didn't want to see that happen, mostly because this person's humanity is at stake, and we all can see the pitfalls and destruction he was apparently walking into. Now he needs to just stand back and stand by as his daddy gets himself locked up.

TSF’s family needs to have a moment of clarity to understand that he creates all of his own problems.

They think the left is obsessed with wanting to ruin TSF’s life, but hey, why is George W. not In hot water post presidency?

Because W. Didn’t carry on like an all out, reckless nut job!

It must be tough having one of the most corrupt and hated men in the US as a father, especially one who cheated repeatedly on his mother and whose sexual deviancy is public knowledge.

But, the more I look at him, the more I wonder if his expression is more, "Please God, get me away from these people! I hate them all, especially my sperm donor." I suspect that his declining the delegation was Melania's doing. If so, keeping that kid out of that shitshow was one of the few good things she has ever done in her life.

9. How does an 18 year old process all the stuff about his slimy father ?

If I was 18 and learned my dad cheated on my mom, numerous times, and with a porn actress I'd be sickened, I'd be so angry, so embarrassed.

Does Barron just not believe it's true?

Would like to hear Mary Trumps opinion on this.

In name only I pray. Not in practice like his elder half-brothers and his sperm donor father.

His genetics show he is his father's son. There is no disputing that. He is wise to remain out of the spot light.

As well they should. Mainly pictures when he's with his parents. He doesn't seem to be like his slobbering brothers who fall all over themselves desperately trying to get daddy's approval.

Being that Sperm Donor pays little attention to him, only when it benefits HIM.

I am beginning to wonder if keeping Barron away from his father is on purpose because she sees what her sleazy husband has done to his elder children, who seem so in need of his approval. THAT is no way to be a parent.

Only Royalty, such as England's, see children as an inconvenience to their duty as Monarchs. Yet their duty to produce heirs to carry on the same traditions.

11. The Young Turks were saying derogatory things about him because he was now "fair game"

"Developmental issues", his height, "the Trump gene pool."
I'm sure other shows did. The Young Turks segment on Barron just happened to pop up on my YouTube feed.

At 18, trying to deal with all that stuff can be alot. Melania likely pulled the plug on his short foray as delegate.
I would have too, if it were my 18 year old.
I had three kids. At 18, my daughter could have handled it, but it still would have left her emotionally scarred and could have brought out aggression in her. She's a natural fighter. She probably would have taken on the trolls head on. But what would that do to her emotionally?

My boys weren't mature enough. One of my boys did drugs, another withdrew into gaming and I had to put parental control software on his laptop when he was a college freshmen. Gaming boy was a National Hispanic Scholar, but he ended up playing MineCraft instead of his studying.

___________

Barron didn't decide to be born into the Trump family.
He's 18. His emotional health is more important than his political health at this time.
