The only thing Hillary Clinton got wrong in her "baskets of deplorable" speech was that "half" of Trump's surpporters...

"They're racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic". It's more like 99% are deplorable. The ones that aren't in that group, are worse, they are pretending to be in the basket in the chase for cash and power.

3. Actually Hillary Clinton was totally wrong in her "basket of deplorables" speech.

These baskets turned out to be full size construction dumpsters; thousands of them filled to overflowing with deplorable, despicable, evil people who care naught for our country.
At the time she couldn't grasp the immensity of numbers of people ready to pledge allegiance to Trump; ready to throw the Constitution and rule of law away in their blind worship of that man.
She missed the mark by several orders of magnitude.
In her defense, we all did.

But now we know and can take the steps to prevent him from regaining the power he has promised to be complete and total from day 1.
Vote like the future of our Country is at stake, because it is!

I understand that many red states they have republican majorities.

BUT, living in such a state, I also know that such majorities can only be a majority by a handful of a percentage points.

You want to DRIVE RURAL DEM voters away RIGHT??????????????????????????????????

from 2005 to 2015 and I know what you mean. I was in a bookclub of liberal women and we tried in our area.

The thing is there is a lot of people, republicans that during a storm or if your stuck in the snow will stop and help you out. What is deplorable is how they vote not who a lot of them are. I think since I know most listen to Fox and rightwing radio they are completely brainwashed.

have significant numbers of BLUE voters.

All the bullshit stereotyping does is alienate allies that are already struggling with being overlooked as significant numbers of the Democratic voting public

9. I respect and voted for Hillary, but that "deplorable" line was a gaffe.

At first, I hoped she would use the burst of outrage from it to her advantage. Namely, she could have said, "Ok, half is too many. My bad. I was talking about the Trump supporters who really are radicals and make everyone uncomfortable, including conservatives. Most Republicans are good people with whom I just happen to disagree on some issues and whom I would work to be a good president for."

That would be a "McCain-like" thing to say (thinking of his response to a woman who dissed Obama in a townhall), and it would have turned a gaffe into a lot of free, good advertising. I don't remember her trying that approach. Maybe she did.
