Kristi Noem's VP Odds Crash After Dog Killing Revelation

Source: Newsweek

"I hated that dog," Noem writes in No Going Back: The Truth on What's Wrong with Politics and How We Move America Forward, adding Cricket was "untrainable" and "dangerous to anyone she came in contact with."

"At that moment," Noem adds, "I realized I had to put her down."

Snip

Alyssa Farah Griffin, the former White House communications director turned critic of the former president, posted on X, previously called Twitter: "I'm a dog lover and I am honestly horrified by the Kristi Noem excerpt. I wish I hadn't even read it. A 14-month-old dog is still a puppy and can be trained. A large part of bad behavior in dogs is not having proper training from humans.

Snip

"Dogs are a gift from God. They're a reflection of his unconditional love. Anyone who would needlessly hurt an animal because they are inconvenient needs help."

I heard yesterday it was her son’s dog too. You train a dog in short and repeated sessions and
yes sometimes hunting dogs make mistakes when they are young but you don’t shoot them
when they do. As a kid the neighbors had a lab that tore up game the first few times they were
“working him” but he developed into a great hunting and family dog too.

Btw according to the Newsweek article there are still republicans who support Noem as
V.P.. ?

The wolf had a radio collar on too. I have hunted for years (not wolves) and that was just sick. There
is a darkness to their souls. Dick Cheney used to go to “game farms” where he and his crew would
kill more than 50 farm raised birds in a single day.

BOZEMAN, Mont.— “In violation of state regulations, Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte trapped and killed a gray wolf on a ranch 10 miles north of Yellowstone National Park in February without first completing a state-required wolf-trapping certification class, according to the Mountain West News Bureau.

The ranch is owned by a media magnate and campaign contributor. Gianforte was allowed to keep the unfortunate wolf’s pelt and skull.“

And this goes hand in hand with the psycho from Wyoming who ran a wolf pup down with his snowmobile, badly injuring it. We are not dealing with people who have any good in them whatsoever. These people are psychopaths.

When we got here, I missed TX so much we tried to move back. I got a job interview... well paying, easy Tech work. They flew me down for an interview. I walked in and saw dead animals as trophies on the wall. Turns out I was at one of those "hunting farms" Texas has so many of. I flew out of that place so fast it made heads spin!

Called the headhunter and told her exactly how I felt about what this corporation was sponsoring and how not only would I NOT be having anything to do with them, but I'd be reporting what I saw on grounds to the Humane Society, the ASPCA, and PETA. Headhunter thought I was nuts... the money was fantastic for the job. I told her the job would mean losing my soul, and it wasn't for sell no matter how much money! Flew back to KS, and we've been here ever since. Sometimes you are called to make decisions on what your true priorities are. I met mine, and never regretted it. -- Although, gods know KS has immense issues I'm still fighting to this day!

Sat Apr 27, 2024, 10:47 AM

after it "acted up" and tried to attack some people.

This was a fully grown pitbull that his girlfriend (at the time), found as a stray too.

He took her to a trainer, and it tried to attack him too.

Then he left, came back a week later, and the dog was playing with the trainer, and Bill Burr himself got some instruction from the trainer regarding the dog.

Any dog, any age, can be "trained" if you do it right.

It reminds me, if a six year old kid just starts peeing and pooping all over the place, you wouldn't kill him/her would you?

You would ask "Hey, have you ever been properly potty trained?"

Evidently, by her own logic, Noem would be impatient and simply want to kill the kid.

First, how could anyone think the majority of Americans would support puppy shooting? And then put it in her autobiography?

Second, shoot your own puppy? A puppy you gave to your son? Why would you?

I had a Rottweiler that just couldn't stop killing other animals. On a farm this is a serious liability. When he killed a 150 pound breeding ewe, I had to get rid of him.

I took him to animal control and they found a home, without other animals, for him. It would never occur to me to shoot him.

This woman is crazy, serial murderers start with killing pets. Her kids probably have some horror stories about her treatment of them.

Sat Apr 27, 2024, 12:00 PM
Apr 27

"How Joni Ernst’s ad about ‘castrating hogs’ transformed Iowa’s U.S. Senate race"

"Joni Ernst was lagging behind in the race for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate here in Iowa. She was a relative unknown in a crowded field led by a wealthy businessman. Then she started talking about castrating hogs."

"Ernst spent just $9,000 to air her first television ad, but her testimonial — "I grew up castrating hogs on an Iowa farm" — and her promise to apply those pork-cutting skills to "make 'em squeal" in Washington transformed her candidacy."

"At a time when voters tune out many political messages, the ad was a vivid reminder of the enduring power of a single image. In the first three days, her 30-second spot was viewed nearly 400,000 times on YouTube and became the talk of cable news, catapulting the state senator from rural Red Oak into the top tier."

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/how-joni-ernsts-ad-about-castrating-hogs-transformed-iowas-us-senate-race/2014/05/11/c02d1804-d85b-11e3-95d3-3bcd77cd4e11_story.html
