5. We all know that Trump's slogan "Make America Great Again" is code for make it "White Again."

It was borrowed from the slogan common among Republicans of "Put the White Back in the White House." The most powerful and important aspect of today's politics is race coupled with evangelical issues of homosexuality, feminism, abortion and even birth control. The Republicans have so poisoned the entire spectrum that it appears their is no resolution or hope of accommodation.

I see no resolution for the situation that the extreme right wing ideologues have put the nation in. It is total capitulation of nothing. That is a frightening aspect of what confronts the citizens. We are basically in a revolution with clearly drawn lines which neither side will cross. It is in some aspects analogous in intensity to those that led to the Civil War. Where we go from here is a mystery.
