South Africa today is still a land of contrasts. Great wealth (almost exclusively held by white residents) contrasted with extreme poverty (primarily minorities), coupled with massive corruption, inadequate rule of law and a ton of guns, walled resdences and "no-go" areas. Its the model we are headed toward if we let the Rethugs takes us there.

But the rest of your points are mainly valid. The RepubliCons are all about polarization.

It is what Republicans fear the most -being the minority, and the path they are taking us down leads to a South Africa-lite society here. Protecting white wealth and privilege, building societal and real walls around themselves.

RUMP is a man who thinks he's full of important things to say, but as we can see from all the tweets (all documented in full), RUMP is one of the least articulate and least important people that I and millions of others will ever listen to.

I don't think I've ever heard RUMP say anything near as profound like anything what O said...President Windbag thinks he's the one that's got it all, but we know who's got it all, and that the joke is on RUMP.

Obama, ...

Just wow! Remarkable! And...I miss him!

Because Trump is INCAPABLE of speaking so eloquently, let alone expressing any emotion behind such words.

The last President I can recall who not only earned my vote but also earned my trust. And my respect.

No matter what Trump does to his policies, he will never erase his legacy or diminish his image in the eyes of those who loved him.
