I believe the crimes Trump and his people have committed border treason. The Republicans in congress are complicit. They are guilty of obstruction and abuse of power. They have all broken their oath of office. To defend America when attacked. They may not impeach no matter what Mueller finds. Trump has done nothing about the attack. He has broken his oath, he has broken the law.
The justice departments rules against indictment can be changed by Rosenstein.. It is time to set precedent. Trump conspired with the enemy on an attack on America. It doesn't get worse than that. I don't care how long it takes.
This must never be allowed to ever happen again. The only way you can do that is to indict Trump with serious crimes and send that asshole to prison. If it starts a civil problem, so be it.
This is a fight to save our way of life. Mueller and Rosenstein must go all out against these fascists. The fascists are going all out to make this country theirs.
What just happened with the NFL players really had a big effect on me. When Trump said you must stand or be removed, leave the country, that is fucking fascism. Trump must be indicted, convicted and sent to prison. I have had enough of this bullshit.

(54,770 posts)months. First, if there is something there -- which appears to be case -- it shouldn't wait until after election. If they haven't connected the dots yet, perhaps they can't connect trump DIRECTLY. If that it case, take down the aides and maybe a kid or two. Second, the longer it goes, the more it looks like a real "witch hunt."
As far as NFL -- I don't like league's new rule, but players can still make a statement. If TV broadcast shows some walking off field prior to anthem and then returning, that's still a statement. Some might not think it is as good as kneeling or fists in the air, but a bunch of players walking off and on in solidarity is powerful in my opinion. Now whether TV will show it, that's another thing. Many did not show players kneeling.
The biggest statement we can all make is to blow GOPers and trump supporting Congresspeople out in 6 months.

That the US is now being led by a buffoon who does not read, know history, let alone what the US Constitution says, is very telling. Trump is harboring fascist tendencies that will destroy this country of ours. The Republicans in Congress are complicit in this complete takeover by Trump and his daily deluge of lies.
But there is a glimmer of hope that Mueller has the goods on Trump, his kids, and his cronies. And when the hammer falls, rest assured that the SHIT will hit the fan.

(1,813 posts)Probably far too much of my time has been spent watching the Eagles. It was a family ritual. If we werent watching in the same place, the phone calls would ensue. Winning the Super Bowl brought my 82 year old Dad a ton of joy.
It is a brutal sport. The more I know, the harder it is to watch.
The owner Jeff Lurie has given quite a few second chances to problem players. He pulled to plug quickly on the Chip Kelly experiment.
But giving the Traitor a win was bridge too far. So I tendered a letter of resignation as a life long Eagles fan. As did my Dad. He and his brothers all served in the military at a time when they were treated better in Europe/
