" The man doth protest too much, methinks" ("no collusion")

This was written a very long time ago. Written by William Shakespeare from Hamlet..but I am referring to Donald Trumps tweet today, "No collusion, no collusion," This was before any mention of what happened 17 years ago today, on September 11, 2001

"The lady doth protest too much, methinks" is a line from the c.?1600 play Hamlet by William Shakespeare, where it is spoken by Queen Gertrude in response to the insincere overacting of a character in the play within a play created by Prince Hamlet to prove his uncle's guilt in the murder of his father, the King of Denmark.[1][2]

The phrase is used in everyday speech to indicate doubt in someone's sincerity.

Trumps obsession with this one term, over and over and over and over and over..........proves he is obsessed with this idea of "no collusion." Why is this person obsessed with this idea? He has his own lawyers to prove the truth of an idea. There is an investigation going on that will focus light on this, and this is headed by someone who has a lifetime of investigations and respected by most in the "investigation community" (former head of FBI) Nevertheless.... Trump cannot stop tweeting this term.

Here is verification that Trump did indeed tweet this morning from NBC News

I recall that line from Hamlet, "" The man doth protest too much, methinks"

.....A little boy has gotten into the refrigerator where there is a half gallon of chocolate ice cream. Also, there is a quart of chocolate syrup. These are his very favorite foods. His mom comes home and sees that the boy's face is full of chocolate as is his shirt. Also both the ice cream, and the syrup have been opened and are half gone. The little boy, age 6, say to his mother...."I didn't do anything. Honest mom, I didn't eat any ice cream or syrup" .
....Day after day he says the same thing when he sees his mom.."I didn't open the ice cream or eat the syrup. " "Honest Mom, it wasn't me."...over and over and over and over...What does mom think? What would anyone think? I have thought about it, and have an answer. The little boy, age 6, ate the chocolate ice cream and also the chocolate syrup .

... And with... Donald Trump....Yes, there was collusion...yes indeed, there was collusion. And because there was collusion, many in your crowd will....."go to jail, go directly to jail, do not pass GO and Do Not collect $200.00.......

He committed criminal conspiracy and perhaps treason, those are the legal standards and that's why he never uses those words in regard to himself or any of his staff (so far). Like always, he thinks if he tells a big enough lie frequently enough, he'll be believed. Lying is what he does besides sexually assaulting women, hurting others because they're not white, money laundering, committing fraud and stealing.

believe him. And that number will get as high as 78 percent. Unfortunately there will always be some that believe Trump. But the great majority will not believe him.

It’s that he says and does things they say and do all the time. The ONLY thing that separates him from them is he’s rich. Naturally they think that if he got rich in spite of his ignorance and because of his lies, then they can too.

I’ve known people like that all my life. You find them in daily life all the time. Many people have at least one person like that in their families. The bitter uncle who blames his failures in life on minorities being handed all the percs he should rightfully get.

Understanding this will free us to move on without them.

A conspiracy to defraud the United States of America.

And that is a crime with hefty penalties. As in orange jumpsuits for the lot of 'em.

It will make it true. He will force it to be true if he has to.

But the over kill of his repeating the same phrase again and again has almost turned into a joke. And as the population is starting to realize that the “C” word of interest is conspiracy, his oft repeated phrase sounds like an admission of guilt. Kid with face covered in cookie crumbs denying he ate the cookies. The truth will find its way to the surface no matter how many times he tries to deny it. Sheer force of his will won’t stop it.
