Women control this coming election.

If a very large majority of women vote for the Democratic Party in November, the outcome will be a Democratic House of Representatives and a Democratic controlled Senate. The contrast would be stark in many ways. But, women across the country must vote for Democrats if they are angry with this Kavanaugh appointment. And that vote against Republican Party's support of Kavanaugh and Trumps decision to make that appointment, could change politics forever. But if women do not "vote", and stay at home, then nothing is changed.

Nevertheless, a very large majority of women voting with our side this November, would and could change politics for a very long time. For example, when Franklin Roosevelt was elected and made changes in the way the country deals with serious problems like unemployment, ageing citizens, bank failures, etc; the political climate changed for 20 years. The same thing could happen, but women must vote with us to make those changes.

and voter suppression and real fraud were at work. But it wouldn't have happened if large numbers of white women hadn't voted for trump. They stabbed America in the heart and I'll never trust any of them to not do it again.

Listening to Republican women in focus groups is sickening.

5. Sometimes people vote against their own interests for rediculous reasons.

This is just one sad example of this behavior in my opinion.

I can't even imagine.. my sister in law. Devout Christian, I mean DEVOUT. Considers herself a loving, caring Christian women. Completely wrapped up in church..Pray for American and vote fot trump. Her daughter, four times married, the same. morality for thee, not for me. "hate the sin, love the sinner" their mantra.

It's about equal rights, marriage equality, and, of course, "killing babies," they're against it all. Like I said, I can't imagine their thought process, and I know they feel the same way about me.

7. Yes, I agree, it is hard to imagine what they think. Here is another example of the same thinking-

My religion, which I don't practice, says you can't work on the Sabbath, which is Saturday in our religion. Some are so caught up in that thinking, that they interpret "turning on the lights in one's house" as "working". Someone somewhere interpreted turning on lights, "as work." Therefore, people leave the lights on all day on Saturday. Or in some cases, those that believe this, pay someone to come into the house and turn the lights on and off. So you say, "How can anyone believe that?"..True believers believe. There is no logic. If they believe that God tells them, then they believe. The facts do not matter, if they believe God tells them, then they believe..

When you think about it, prejudice and hate can indeed be overcome. If women do not want this crap, they can as a group protest and vote for those candidates who oppose this. Proof: there was a candidate who had great thinking abilities, but came from a "mixed background." So, Obama won twice.
And women who stand up to this, and vote for honesty and fairness in their candidates, will vote for the Democratic Party. It isn't easy to stand up as we saw. But Ford stood up and it was clear who told the truth and who lied. It is also clear, who supported the liar, and who supported the truth teller. It really is up to women if they vote in huge numbers as they never voted before, we will see change...

..Oh, I live in a state where there was an election, and a disabled woman won over a man who lied about military service. Tammy Duckworth vs Mark Kirk. Tammy won by 800,000 votes. approx. 3,000,000 to 2,200,000. She is the current senator from Illinois.

and Obama's elections were so incredible. I really, at long last, felt like we could finally move forward to more humanity and decency, and I think we did. Now we have to pay I guess.

But yes, Ford did stand up and other women will too. I just hope the great sleeping giant of women who are disengaged from politics wakes up with a vengance.

Your story about the lights reminded me of my mom who parents were Orthodox Jewish immigrants. Mom was the first child born in America. She said she remembered on Fridays tearing the toilet paper into squares and stacking them up because it was against the Jewish laws to tear paper on the Sabbath, from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. My mom laughed and said that's when she decided their religion was crazy, but she loved many of the traditions.
