That is not going to happen. Every time they speak about it they paint him as a victim.

decide they don't want to be on the stupid side of history?

It seems far-fetched, but could happen.

It's really a no win situation, in all reality they had until January to fill the seat with the current 51-49 majority regardless.

But wouldn't bet a red cent on it. There's no soul or moral compass left with these Republican senators.

It’s been clear since Day 1 that he was in; the Republicans are in control and had no intention of handing a loss to Trump.

Honestly, all this happy talk about Kav not being confirmed has been ridiculous and almost painfully naive. They had the numbers. That’s literally as simple as it gets.

There were a lot of Jews in the 1930s who did not beleive the Nazi were coming for them who should have given up hope and fled Germany

The GOP is far too invested in this now to suddenly acquire a conscience

I don't see how he won't be confirmed. Even if closeted-Republican Joe Manchin switches his vote, we're still at 50/50. Mike Pence will break the tie in favor of Brett Kavanaugh.

If he's not confirmed, I'll believe it when I see it.

When Democrats stayed home in 2010 and 2014 this was put into place. The GOP has the the votes

The SCOTIS was on the ballot in 2016. Stein voters and sanders voters who stayed home are the reason why we are here.

Math is math. The GOP has the voted
