Just imagine all the revealing information the FBI got when they raided Cohen's office and hotel room. I would think a lot of people were implicated and are freaking out right now.

Most B&B's don't spend anything close to that

If you visit the politics page of FOX News, you barely see anything on Mueller.
Is there any wonder how the country is so polarized? The media has become a fast food menu - you get to pick what you want to hear the news tell you - not necessarily the truth of what is really going on. FOX News is a modern day version of an evil Pied Piper.

but talk of what Fox's saying reminded me. I googled ecofascism the other day for any whiffs yet on Fox, but nope -- our right at least is still just accusing some on the left of being environmental fascists and ecoterrorists. They're not trying to own it yet, and may never, or be able to. Everyone knows they've been deniers for several decades.

But with the rise of fascism on the right and emerging conservative anxiety over global warming and its increasing disasters, the real combo of an increasingly fascist-leaning Republican Party using environmental issues (both as a weapon against us and to control what kind of action is taken) as an organizing, motivating passion for their base seems eventually very possible. German's National Socialists wrapped conservationism into their authoritarian protectionism of the fatherland.

Yet another reason for urgent action, not that we needed it.

15. It is dangerous because the divide seems to be getting deeper and more extreme

With a broken media (or a scuttled one with attacks of "fake news&quot , it is very difficult to get a message to or reason with these people.

Without prompt action to correct this, there is a risk for civil war or increased domestic terrorism. When people start getting hurt, that can snowball into Hatfield and McCoys type of endless dispute like the problem for decades in Ireland.

We need to get everyone on the same page, rowing together in the same direction.

With broken media being used as sources for dispersal of propaganda that deepens the divide and misunderstanding, I'm not sure how it can be solved.

Pretty scary.

16. Scary, yes. The midterms were reassuring, though.

Now that people are seeing what the Republicans have become, some have been backing away from the Republicans and others voting in greater numbers on their own. In fact, since at least 2000 the majority of Americans have been with us, just not always the extra majority we need.

You know, even with our great senate disadvantages this time, the electorate might have taken both houses away from the Republicans if it hadn't been for election corruption.

So, 2020. The midterms results will help tremendously with the 2022 reapportionment, and I have great hopes for Trump. With the stakes enormous this election is going to be brutal, but I'd rather be us.

13. I think the frogs in hot water thing comes from the right wing.

At any rate it's not true. I will guarantee that a frog will get out of hot water no matter how slowly you heat it. It is typical Hannity nonsense. Ask any biologist. To me it shows how deep the right wing has penetrated the culture. Probably the majority of Americans believe it now because they just keep repeating a lie and our "journalists" are too ignorant to fact check it. Whenever I hear that line I assume i'm listening to a Limbaugh a talk radio fan.
