(6,245 posts)but somehow I missed Emma Chambers. I remember her best from The Vicar of Dibley, a wonderful BBC television series on intermittently from 1994 to 2007, about a woman priest in a Church of England church in a small village. Chambers played the ditsy Alice Springs Tinker Horton, the verger, the vicar's assistant. At the end of each episode, the vicar tells a joke that Alice never, ever understands.
But then I discovered that she also played Hugh Grant's sister Honey in Notting Hill (1999). She apparently had a long career in theatre as well.
