In the dead of night on Christmas Eve 1992, lame duck President George H.W. Bush pardoned Abrams and five others for their activities in Iran/contra.* Which freed up Abrams to get back into government during Bush the Stupider's administration, and claw his way higher during the Donald "only the best people" Trump administration.

Good on Rep. Omar for not forgetting Mr. Abrams' personal history.

*Surely you remember hearing about that during the necrogasm of coverage of Bush's death? Me neither.
