Why would you need a Twitter account to view tweets? They're all public, unless a person has locked WhiskeyGrinder Feb 2019 #1

I don' think I'm the only one not able to view.

That said, is it really too much to ask for a "who" wrote the tweet? and a few words about it?

Good luck.

This is an older ipad, just like its owner

I solved my problem with my iphone, but noted others have problems.

I wrote out of frustration for others as much as myself. You are kind, thank you.

You should fix that instead of making people do extra work.

I have a device that had the same problem and it turned out that it was an adblocker that prevented the tweets from opening.

naw... it is kind to consider those that may not be able to open a link... just like articles or essays from a site with a paywall... example, I have a subscription to NYT but I can't open a link to the Washington Post

If we want to engage in discussion it is good to allow others information

One can copy/paste the entire tweet. Easy peasy. If anyone doesn't know how to do that, just ask.

can attach to your computer and follow you home offline. I end up with up to 50MB of temporary files that I have to erase every time I go offline from here when I follow twitlinks. I appreciate the info and videos and all but it is annoying.

for it REALLY is on the poster to supply some gist
of the story that is is being linked to...
NOT JUST A SUBJECT LINE, AND THEN JUST A LINK

the rules state you can post UP to 4 paragraphs... how about at least 1 ?
or all 4 ... give me something to make me want to follow and read more FFS!

I don't follow ANY post that just posts a link and no info, if YOU are too lazy to give some idea of what's to come at that link ... I'm not going to follow it, or you, for any info on DU ...

I'll more likely put you on ignore, and read the same info from the considerate posters that are trying to pass on info, AND NOT JUST TRYING TO PAD THEIR POST COUNT 🤔

my 2 cents...

I want DU to remain viable & robust during this election cycle. I am very average so when I realized I was losing interest here, I had to speak up. I don't say much, but am here daily because your voices help inform. Truly, a DU fan.
