Like most of us here, I felt kind of gut punched on Friday. But it appears that Mueller is still playing 3 dimensional chess. Trump's no more exonerated than Nixon was. We need to stay tuned, and stay positive. Like Rachel says, watch this space.

(3,048 posts)It's obvious that he was put in place for this exact thing. And McConnell's as big a pig as Barr is.

(13,903 posts)like every other politician in the modern era. Well many of them anyway.
And to the Republicans these kind of attacks are not reprehensible or immoral they are a tactic and they don't give half a dead rat if they are used by them just as long as they con people into not using it against them.

(12,145 posts)These are the 15 questions Maddow posed during her show tonight:
1. Why did Mueller not decide on obstruction of justice?
2. Did Mueller expect Barr to decide on obstruction?
3. Should Barr have decided on obstruction?
4. Did Mueller want to protect a future grand jury?
5. Why did Barr consult the DOJ office of legal counsel before deciding about obstruction?
6. What will be briefed to the intelligence committees and Gang of Eight?
7. Was there a full investigation of Trumps intent regarding obstruction?
8. Were Trumps finances part of the investigation?
9. Will we see the Mueller investigation scope memo?
10. Will we see Trumps written responses to Mueller?
11. Will the Mueller report be released?
12. Will Mueller testify to Congress?
13. Will Congress see Muellers underlying evidence?
14. Will ongoing investigations be affected?
15. Will Trump recognize Russia attacked our election?

(3,344 posts)Of course the 4 PM show, and Melber's show and Hayes' show did good today, too.
I almost never watch Melber anymore but I made an exception today.
Taken all together MSNBC has done fairly well today, in the shows I've watched.

I personally think we're in a race with time, and if our institutions don't hold, we're fucked.

(8,682 posts)Well she had two people on that complimented Republican Mueller. Republicans used that for the last couple of years. Propped up a far right Republican. Republican pal trump even called Mueller honorable.

(2,387 posts)when it comes to attacking Mueller for being partisan/republican when we clearly have no idea yet..... I've seen to many comments here and they are unwarranted....not this thread specifically....
it makes this community look bad and quite frankly I consider remarks of the kind trollish and not to be trusted.... Their next step is to go after Mueller... If we are they too... they win.
