Trump Implies He Trusts North Korea's Kim More Than His Own PeoplePresident Donald Trump seemed to contradict his national security adviser Saturday, claiming he was unbothered by North Korea’s recent missile tests essentially because he trusts dictator Kim Jong Un. In a tweet while he was in Japan, Trump also espoused a view that is at odds with his host country. “North Korea fired off some small weapons, which disturbed some of my people, and others, but not me,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “I have confidence that Chairman Kim will keep his promise to me.”
Link to tweet [link:https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2019/05/trump-not-worried-recent-north-korea-missile-tests.html| Trump wants to be a totalitarian leader like Kim. Of course he believes him, he desperately wants to be part of the strong men club.

4. Somebody needs to explain to him...
That countries do not operate for the benefit of one person.
They operate in their own interests. He is so dangerously off-base on this. |
