Mueller is the only person in the entire country that can do this.
Make it politically difficult for the Republicans in the Senate to vote against impeachment. Mueller is the only one who can appear in public, under oath and tell the American people that Trump and Barr are not telling the truth about his report.
He is the only one who can tell the people what he really meant about the evidence in his report and what he expected to be done about it. He is the only one most Americans will believe. It's his report, his investigation. Mueller is the whole dam ball game. He has been from the very beginning.

1. I am not particularly hopeful. Mueller is a by-the-book guy.
He doesn't seem willing to himself on the line. I hope I am wrong.

4. NO, Mueller has not demonstrated
any inclinination to reveal truth to power. He remains a company man without the courage of conviction. imo

7. I agree. And even if only his opening statement is on tv
before going into closed session, he could have a huge impact.
He only has to say that his report found a number of instances of obstruction and that if Trump were not in office that he would be indicted. That’s it. Just one sentence. Do it, Bob. Do it. |

11. Mueller has the same freedom of speech as any other American.
Now, will he show some courage and say what needs to be said?

14. mueller is too worried about being "proper" and his "reputation"...
He simply does not get that this is not the same ballgame - that expecting people (like trusting the attn general) to be proper etc is a joke. He reminds me of one of those old WW1 Calvary officers in WW2 not knowing what tanks are.
