Putin, and others, could have some kompromat too. He is no spring chicken and has been in politics a long time so he could have a lot in his closet (so to speak).

Whether it's Putin, Trump, who the hell knows. But Trump seems to be the direct beneficiary of Graham's lapdog behavior.

psychologically by professionals and amateurs alike (and no I don't have a problem with that; the Goldwater rule shouldn't apply here). But maybe some of those people should divert their attention and expertise to Lindsey. He's one odd duck.

The only way he doesn’t keep his senate seat is to be taken out in a primary by a Tea Party fanatic, which would probably happen if Trump turned on him. He and McConnell are both just trying to save their asses, and they have no real objection to most of what Trump is doing.

He knows he's safe as long as he covers up for Trump. With Graham...his sucking up seems to be more important than re-election. There is something shameful, maybe even criminal that is motivating that man. No one has that little self-respect unless he's about to be annihilated. Someone must know something really disgusting that he's willing to grovel so. I just don't believe he needs his seat so badly that he would forfeit his self-respect so publically and shamefully. I would love it if the top were blown off the mystery so that Trump or whoever could no longer hold it over his head.

In the Senate, especially Mitch McConnell.

He let the politicians in on "investments" promising them good returns. It turns out the investments unsnarled the politicians in trumps Russian money laundering schemes.

So now trump has the goods on them. I think he has done that for years with other people.

I think this because trump is evil incarnate and people in high places know it and that anyone trump touches gets screwed at some time or other, so there is no reasonable excuse to waste your life to protect his yet, people do just that.
