2. So treason is now described as very troubling?

That is itself very troubling.

9. Treason by the Commander in Chief is more than "troubling."

4. Ben Sasse has a situational moral compass that

reverts back to pointing to R as soon as a vote is needed.

He went over to Dr. Blasey-Ford during her hearing and shook her hand and appeared very troubled by her story. Then he voted to confirm Kavanaugh.

He is Susan Collins in a suit.

5. Sasse gives me a very small glimmer of hope that the Pubs may have accidently missed a few

of their own who still have bit of honor & justice in their souls. Whether there's enough left in the Senate to achieve 67 is questionable.

8. Sasse is relatively young

He has more to lose than the Grassleys, Cornyns and Grahams.

10. He usually just grandstands.

He makes these statements in public, then votes with Trump. One can hope that this time is different, though I'm not holding my breath.

6. So we are supposed to believe he is not a complete moral coward like the others?

Meh!

7. I think he's trying to protect GOPers here. He's probably very concerned that when the public

knows what the whistle-blower knows, the wind will blow the other way (away from Trump), even in red states and GOP primaries.
