(34,095 posts)in the 80's and 90's as a full time, night shift, ICU RN with specialist training I made in one year twice what this guy from Chipotle in one hour. 2 hours in his day is equal to an entire year as a nurse back then. I doubt it is quite that bad now but it certainly is not that much better for nurses that it would ever make this look anywhere near fair.

The patient load, the liabilities, and many other issues are worthy of doctor level remuneration ..

(34,095 posts)It was a long time ago now but I still miss it. I loved the job but had to move on and do other things once the kids came along. It was my choice to be more available to them but it was a hard decision.
Nurses work hard. In my list of people who deserve more than they get they would be right up there with librarians and teachers IMO.
