Florida has an unlimited exemption for a primary home. New York has no exemption. So, if Trump makes a $30 million luxury estate his "homestead" in Florida, it's essentially immune to any kind of Federal or NY State asset seizure for Tax or Financial Fraud.

(101,724 posts)1. He has to have a judge declare it a primary home, rather than a business though
and that seems like quite the leap. Not to mention he has to spend a full 1/2 the year plus one day in Florida at this "new" primary residence to qualify. NY is pretty good at nailing wealthy residents trying to "play the game,"

fact that NY is going all in on on his tax returns. What the hell is in them? Murders, his likely global sex trafficking?
