Here I set wonder what the future holds?

I wonder what I will wake up to tomorrow? I never really worry, but know I am beginning to worry. I know I should not worry, it is what it is! My concerns are for our country, our military and my family. My mother talk to one of my GOPer family member last night. I was shocked what my mother told they said after they hung up. She was tell me that that family believes "if Trump is not cleared of the impeachment inquiry and wins the election, there will be hell to pay"? I hear this from many other people and shrug it off, but when it is a family member? It shakes me to the core! Now this certain family is a good person, but has the flaw of being a GOPer. Listening to Rush, Fox News and Trump, has given them a warped mind! I would hope things calm down! The uncertainty is we are closing fast in on the election and we are close to having to face some very scary times.

Your relatives may well have BEEN good people, but we are the sum of our daily choices and what you describes removes them from that category...

I have cut off all contact with my sister and her idiot Trumper husband for the duration of his term, maybe longer. It is painful but necessary to live on principle.

because I think the only way we'll be rid of Trump without bloodshed is if he dies while in office.

I have a couple of rwnj's in my family & my husband shakes his head in semi-disbelief when I tell him the things they say. Last week he talked to a relative in his family who's gone all rwnj. "I can't even talk to him," he said. "There is no getting through. Anything that contradicts his worldview is fake news." And belligerent & angry—they are so angry.

'cause they are going to need it.

They aren't the only ones with guns. They are under the delusion that they are going to just walk all over us.

Ain't happenin'.

The problem with their greatly anticipated "civil war", ... it may not turn out the way they expect.

You could add that there are one way tickets available to Russia, no waiting, where there are a LOT of white people."

Perhaps a trusted friend that your misinformed family members would trust, or even clergy. My little brother became a dittohead in the 80's when I was away in the military. It took a couple of years and a steady diet of the right media to straighten him out. He teaches at a major university now.

the "Jerry Springer" type of shows. These are the same types of people that supported George Wallace in the 60's. I hate to judge but this mess is disgusting to me.
