(86,061 posts)I was streaming MSNBC's feed and their cameras weren't showing anything but the close ups of the active speakers. To their credit, though, they never showed those protest posters in such a way that you could read them.
It was quite a gripping day of testimony, again. Next week is going to take up a lot of my time, maybe I should put a stew together so I can just watch and munch. I just can't help but watch the whole thing.

Still, they lie for him. Still, they violate their highest oaths and give comfort, aid, and succor to a man doing everything he can to destroy the Constitution of the United States and abase the rule of law.

Sounds interesting:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinosaurs_(TV_series)
Dinosaurs is an American family sitcom comedy television series that was originally broadcast on ABC from April 26, 1991, to October 19, 1994. The show, about a family of anthropomorphic dinosaurs (portrayed by puppets), was produced by Michael Jacobs Productions and Jim Henson Television in association with Walt Disney Television
Topical issues featured in Dinosaurs include environmentalism, endangered species, women's rights, sexual harassment, LGBT rights, objectification of women, censorship, civil rights, body image, steroid use, allusions to masturbation (in the form of Robbie doing the solo mating dance), drug abuse, racism (in the form of a dispute between the two-legged dinosaurs and the four-legged dinosaurs), peer pressure, rights of indigenous peoples (in the form of the dinosaurs interacting with cavepeople), corporate crime, government interference in parenting, and pacifism.
In the episode "I Never Ate for My Father," in lieu of carnivorism, Robbie chooses to eat vegetables, and the other characters liken this to communism, and drug abuse.
In the final season, "The Greatest Story Ever Sold" (a take off of The Greatest Story Ever Told) references religion when the Sinclair family becomes eager to learn the meaning of their existence. The Elders dictate a new system of beliefs, and the entire cast (with the exception of Robbie) abandons science to blindly follow the newly popular "Potato-ism".
Another religious-themed episode was "The Last Temptation of Ethyl," in which Ethyl willingly allows a televangelist to exploit her near-death experience to extort money from followers. She backs out after having a second such experience, where instead of heaven, she experiences a "place not so nice": an existence surrounded by nothing but multiple Earl Sinclairs.
Several jokes in the series were at the expense of television shows in general. Earl often wants to watch TV rather than do something more practical, and several jokes accuse television of "dumbing down" the population and making it lazy .

They are defending corruption at the highest level while pointing at a low rung, Hunter Biden.
Hunter wouldn't make a good republican. He's TOO POOR!
How dare he work so cheap, damn "right to work countries!"
As for VP Biden, we were taught in school that the way to politically disappear someone is to make them VP. They go to funerals.
Now a VP is all powerful?
Really? How's that working for Casper?

(959 posts)The pic in your op looked like a CD with a soda tab... If it's an extreme closeup of a piece of jewelry or something I don't understand why you would focus on that while showing Jordans face in the first submitted pic. Maybe you are making some edgy joke that escapes me
EDIT... I apologize. I think she is wearing something on her top that messes with digital photos taken of her. I just copied the image addy of the original image, opened it in another window and it showed the picture you replied to me with.

(182,279 posts)The conspiracy theories Nunes (amongst others) are publicly airing are lore and dogma to the dashboard believers. This stuff is as true to them as stories we heard as kids about George Washington. They hear it every day nonstop. I listen in to talk radio and I would highly suggest that those with ANYTHING better to do try an experiment- listen to the first 15 minutes of a Hannity radio show. Get a pen and paper ready because you will hear inside "jokes" and references that are (not mind blowing) dizzying.
We tend to be political junkies but you will have a hard time trying to figure out what the hell he's even talking about. After one day you will notice a repeat of some major arching story lines but still other things will pop up. Take your notes and start on the google machine. Their world is a truly strange one. After three days you will get into the rhythm of what they hear all the time, for decades. At the end of one week you will begin to understand this new language. Things you forgot about, mostly because they were absurd, are still constant with them. Their failures are victories and they always are under attack at the same time. Trust me, as brutal as it will be the first few days you will come out feeling freer than you ever have and never look at people you pass by in the same way. They are out there, a lot of them......WAAAY out there.
