Do the Democrats have the votes to impeach?

I think there will be very few defections on the Democratic side. Perhaps a half-dozen or less.

At this time, no Republicans are expected to vote with the Democrats, although Justin Amash, former Republican, is expected to vote to impeach.

It shows the huge hill to climb to change the public opinion in this country. It also shows the extent that right-wing media has over Republican voters in this country. In many instances, it is nothing more than state-run television.

Nancy Pelosi is to be commended for her courage and leadership in standing up to protect our Constitution. She may be the only leader in Washington with the guts to do so?

The Democrats will follow their hearts and their consciences to impeach Donald J Trump. At this time, the Republican Senate does not seem to have a plan?

The Democrats have the votes and they will use them in a historic and courageous decision.

1. Speaker Pelosi and whip Clyburn will not hold a vote unless they know it will be in favor of

Impeachment. That is why Moscow Mitch might not get this impeachment finished in January. 2020. Death by a thousand cuts will be his downfall. Continued investigations will drive mf45 crazy and unhinged. Perhaps so unhinged the 25th amendment and impeachment will be inevitable.

Seeing today on the political shows how repukes are having difficulty maintaining the lies and denying the truth was telling where they will have to go whether they like it or not.

2. I think they could do a better job in the media by talking about Trump's tendency

and history of deceit, lying, corruption, self-serving, and narcissism.

Why leave out a whole discussion about how Trump is TOTALLY capable of misconduct as evidenced by his whole life, the campaign, and his presidency? This is a bad, pathetic guy and pundits and officials are talking about Ukraine as though he is a normal human who crossed the line just this once!

They are doing a good job in hearings on the technical tasks of proving a Ukraine case. But, while theoretically strong in court, the case is NOT isolated and could be much stronger in terms of public perception pressure on the GOP!!
