Chief Justice Roberts will forever be known as the "Kangaroo Court Justice" if he does not insist that witnesses be called and declare a mistrial if witnesses are not called.
The Constitution requires a trial.
This is not a trial.

But Roberts demeanor and stature seem weak and defeated to me. He sat slumped in his chair and read the questions with zero interest or intention. Maybe he knows that he's between a rock and a hard place.

Anybody else?

He lives in a societal bubble. He is surrounded by "his kind of people" and doesn't care what the rest of us think. He is, after all, a Republican.
