Does Mitt Romney have a diagnosis of something that

causes some occasional slurred speech? The speech he read was perfect -- coherent and rational. I heard a lot of lip-smacking sounds and some slurring, but just occasionally.

I hope he's not ill.

I have been watching Mitt since the 1990s and he is sometimes an amazingly good person and other times not so much. Here I admire and respect what he did. That took courage and a lot of soul searching on his part to buck the bad boys club knowing the consequences.

He'll be interesting to watch in the future. At this point I'd rather have Mitt than fucking Orin Hatch for this and he came out way ahead of my expectations.

However to make it through the gauntlet of the pack of jackals that is the GOP on that presidential run he made he to contort his postion to meet the approval of all the whack jobs and he was terrible at doing it.

I am in no way advocating for any republican for president but I think that the real Mitt Romney is about as good as the GOP has these days.

And to his credit, he's fully aware and bracing himself for the backlash he will be encountering in the coming days. Stay committed and focused, Mitt, and suck up as much oxygen from the orange anus as you can.

Emotionally charged senator standing up to his peers and doing the right thing. It is very difficult to do and any lip smacking was too slight and trivial, I didn't even notice it.

It probably doesn’t come easy to him, to expose so much of himself.

It was an inspiring speech.
