4. Hey Mikey! You might want to check with your buddy Rush about that.
But then we already know that Rush's cancer wasn't caused by his disgusting cigars, but by a Deep State Plot.

5. follow the money
During the course of his political career, Pence has received $39,000 in campaign money from RJ Reynolds and more than $60,000 from the tobacco-connected National Association of Convenience Stores. Also, the Trump-Pence inaugural committee received $1 million from RJ Reynolds and $500,000 from the Altria Group, which owns Phillip Morris.

6. Oh yes it does. I have a second hand smoke caused cancer. I wouldn't even wish it on Mike ...
Mike's caused more than his fair share of cancer himself. His family just boarded up their service stations when their oil empire went belly up and walked away from their EPA timebombs. Indianapolis had to pay to dig up the storage tanks and remediate the properties.

15. It's a truncated quote from his blog in 2001
"Time for a quick reality check. Despite the hysteria from the political class and the media, smoking doesn't kill. In fact, 2 out of every three smokers does not die from a smoking related illness and 9 out of ten smokers do not contract lung cancer. This is not to say that smoking is good for you.... news flash: smoking is not good for you. If you are reading this article through the blue haze of cigarette smoke you should quit. The relevant question is, what is more harmful to the nation, second hand smoke or back handed big government disguised in do-gooder healthcare rhetoric."
