I still believe that the origin of this threat against our democracy is Trump's debt to oligarchs.

Just as Eric Trump once said, they get all the financing they need from the Russians.

In my opinion, when Trump could no longer borrow from American banks, he went to Russia, and later to Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, to keep his brand afloat. In the process, he became one of the largest money-launderers in the world.

This was the information that he had to keep from the American people. That is why he could not show his tax returns or the details of his financial statements. He was living in a palace of debt.

All the conspiracy theories, all the investigations, all the crimes committed, were all part of the cover-up of the criminal activities of Donald J Trump.

In my opinion, his business empire would collapse without the input of money from oligarchs around the world, most of it in the laundromat.

That is also the reason that he grovels to Vladimir Putin. Putin controls him. I still believe that. People keep secrets when they have something to hide. Donald Trump has a lot of secrets.

Boy, if Trump is a "godsend" meaning "sent from God" then The Deity has really tossed out his standards vis-a-vis the 10 Commandments when it comes to who He holds up for sainthood. By my count Trump routinely violates Commandments:
1: He values money more than God
2. I'm just guessing but Trump almost surely uses "God damn it" every time he tries to fit into his pants or tighten his girdle.
3. He golfs on the Sabbath routinely
4. He deceived his father to collect most of the family inheritance against the old man's wishes.
5. He has been killing using the drone program Obama bequeathed on him, with a reported 10X as many civilians dying as "targets" getting whacked.
6. As for adultury, he is a true serial violator
7. His entire business plan is based upon stealing -- from tenants he evicts illegally from buildings he wants to convert to co-ops, from contractors he stiffs out of their payments for work done, and to banks he borrows from and then declares bankruptcy
8. Lying (false witness)? The man is a congenital liar. Nuff said.
9 . Donald covets any younger woman he sees, including wives of his friends.
10. He covets his neighbors' goods too, if they have property that's in the way of his developments.

That's 10 for 10. What a "godsend."

trump wants the usa to have so much debt he can justify a "public equity" style liquidation of federal lands and property, including the nation parks and military bases.

trump's cult will see this as "balancing the budget" and will not mind one bit that his sons are making a commission on the sales.

Trump has openly called himself "the king of debt." Where Obama wrote a book called "The Audacity of Hope," if Trump could write, his business autobiography might carry the title "The Victory of Audacity." He gets away with it because he dares to get away with it. He made a living incurring debts he never intended to pay. But Putin is a very different kind of creditor.

I don't think there is a cabal of oligarchs propping Trump up. Sooner or later, they would be bickering among each other for their share of the American Pie. I think that Putin was long aware of Trump's precarious financial straits, as well as the success of his outlandish rhetoric, and put two and two together. Probably realizing the Russian State would never see their money again, he decided to collect the collateral: Trump himself.

There is nothing so clever as making collateral you intend to collect into as valuable an asset as possible before cashing in. And so he did. Замечательно, товарищ (remarkable, comrade)!

of public goods. Perhaps a milder form of Nazism more than anything else. Oligarchs are a private, non-military form of generals in this conflict, and both enjoyed plunder. Even relaxation of environmental regulation - the right to pollute - is a giant gift of cost saving to the conquerors. The enterprise is more than merely a debt shakedown.

Bankers Trust was bought / merged by Deutsche bank in 1998 , there were a few banks that merged in that time period . Deutsche made bad decision .... Bankers Trust

" There's no doubt Deutsche Bank bought itself plenty of trouble in buying BT, Wall Street's bad-boy institution.

For starters, BT executives routinely pocketed unclaimed customer cash in what prosecutors described as a vast slush fund. In 1999 the bank pleaded guilty to three felony charges and agreed to pay $63 million as part of a settlement with state and federal authorities BT was a pioneer in derivatives trading, at least until 1994 when clients Procter & Gamble and Gibson Greetings sued the bank for misleading them on those deals To repair customer relations, the bank hired investment banker Jerome Powell, now chairman of the Federal Reserve."

" BT's specialty was making loans to businesses other banks shunned and was the only major New York lender to stick with Donald Trump in the 1990s. Banks like Chase and Citibank had abandoned the real estate developer after he defaulted on loans backed by personal guarantees. Deutsche Bank remains the lone big bank to do business with Trump today, according to the president's personal financial disclosures.

In 2015, Deutsche Bank wrote its BT assets down to zero as part of a $6.6 billion balance-sheet purge. But the stink of this long-ago merger still lingers."

With all the in and out , twists and turns I hope this can all be unraveled and truth come out .

New Hope Town
AS IT WAS IN THE BEGINNING, SO SHALL IT BE IN THE END…
S – 1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb
2 through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. Revelation 22:1-3

O – One of the most powerful themes of the Revelation is that God is going to rectify all that went wrong with creation in the end. Even though everything fell out of order under man’s stewardship, God’s intentions for man and for all that He made will be brought into being as these verses evidence. Just as the Garden of Eden had the Tree of Life, the new heaven and earth will have the Tree of Life in it. The curse of sin is forever broken and humans in the Kingdom will live as God intended: Worshiping and serving Him and loving one another. When we see all that is wrong in our world (which is the result of man’s poor stewardship, it is truly staggering to consider how complete the work of the Lord is to remove all sin in the future. John saw man, God and creation all in the order that God created them in his vision, and His words are written to encourage his audience that their present suffering for faithfulness will equate to an eternal rest and covering beyond what they could ever imagine.

A – The reality of my future being one spent with Christ and being fully delivered from all evil is a heart, mind and spirit securing reality. Yet, I am not to wait for the “sweet by and by”! God’s work of restoration and redemption is one that I have the privilege of experiencing myself on a daily basis, as well as being able to extend His eternal life to all who seek Him. This is our gospel and it must be proclaimed! God in giving His Son forgave man’s sin and now opens the door for us to begin to reclaim all that was lost in the Garden (namely our relationship with God and right understanding of how to live in worshipful-love and service to Him). What an incredible blessing to see into the future and see the reward of loving and serving Him.

Have they gotten their money's worth? Oh, I'd say they have, they've managed to unite the bigots against the rest of us while spiraling this country into debt we will never manage to climb out of.. Will they back him as lavishly for a second term? Before this virus outbreak, I'd have said yes, they're pushing for a full blown civil war.
