POTUS has told aides that Azar and others have an "alarmist" view of the virus. He has wanted little to do with providing information about it himself, according to multiple officials. But watching others deliver info, he has the impulse to put himself in front of the podium.

My guess is he's going to try and keep the CDC from speaking anymore about this, or whatever they're going to say has to get approved from the White House first.

I nominate Donald J. Trump for dictator wannabe of the year!

While some will consider his apparent bumbling to be ineptitude, damn, he does it like a professional to me. Now, let's see, while you condition the public for your reign, you anticipate and even exacerbate any potential emergency that could yield far more control. That becomes an increasingly important agenda as you face the General Election.

This is going to be a very interesting year because he will be ramping up the "act" and putting everything he has now into it. It is not a good time to underestimate that and yield to the spectacle that facilitates his shrewd game play.

The actions he takes are methodical and one-point and, yes, they are all about him, but to let the facade of bumbling, stupid, arrogant, drugged, mentally unstable, etc., remain a cover is to forget Dubya in his cowboy hat working on the ranch and what that was intended to convey. There are many many examples.

In a well scripted, reality TV show government a strong does of skepticism about the intended facade is highly recommended.

The health professionals have the knowledge capable of determining a likely outcome from a situation like this, and being non political speak the truth , and won't lie to the American people about it, but trump and pence and the republicans will .purely for political reasons, ignoring the safety of the American people, and now want to use it for more tax cuts for themselves, again. Unbelievable! This is going to backfire badly for them.

He didn't come up with that word or thought himself. I'm guessing it comes from Mulvaney. Any other guesses?
