Sick of the GOP talking points on everything, but this one REALLY grinds my gears...
This idea that "the cure can't be worse than the disease"...I want to choke the motherfuckers that are running around parroting this as if it were humane or anything but a monstrous clarion call to place profits over people forever.
I swear to god, the next time a Republican hypocrite even TRIES to utter the phrase "pro-life" NEAR me, there is going to be a jaw broken and it won't be mine. They can ram that line of bullshit straight up their ass, through their intestines, into their stomachs and right out their filthy fucking hypocrite mouths. Pro-Life? FUCK YOU, you anti-women, anti-elders, pro-profit pieces of shit. Seriously, FUCK. YOU.

11. I'm finding it to be very hard...
...to keep my cool around these Trump supporters lately. The more they talk the more it becomes apparent to me that the only thing they value is money and they are willing to trade as many lives as it takes to get it. Words cannot express how I feel about so many people backing the GOP who in my mind are nothing short of a death cult.

22. Sick to think, but conceivable
They may be thinking it is OK for the poor and the old folks to die. Fewer old folks cuts expenditures for Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid. Since there is no depth to which the Great Orange Virus won't go, this idea is possible. He has no moral compass and he has very ugly people pulling his strings.
The GOP would like to get rid of Social Security, Obama Care and all the other social safety net programs. There dream is for folks at the bottom should just die, but please do it out of sight somewhere. Anyone who votes for a modern republican is a fool. |

15. The flu doesn't kill 2 million people in a month or two.
Because we have a vaccine and it doesn't infect a quarter or half the population. Automobiles don't kill 2 million people in a month or two. But coronavirus might just well do that if it's allowed to rage out of control. That's what exponential growth does. It's very likely that 100,000,000 people will get it if the spread can't be contained. About 1% of them will die outright. Another 10% might die if they need aggressive intervention to save them and no hospital facilities are available.
These people really are stupider than pet rocks. |

23. WTH does it even mean?
Should they shoot themselves? If they go to out and get the virus---in order to die---and thus remove a vector, then they are supposed to stop shopping? Stop walking? They are to just go home and wait to die alone? No visits. No family.
Or they are supposed to keep working until they die in the elevator? And this is supposed to stop the spread of the virus and make the stock market go up again? No one else in the lives of these old expendables will contract it from them and keep spreading it anyway? They came for People of Color, for Immigrants, Latinos, Asians, Jews...but I was none of these things and did nothing. They came for my Grand parents but I wasn't a Grand parent, so..... Man, Trump must have hated Fred..... |

27. Exactly my feelings.
It should be obvious to them, to all of them, Trump, his ass-kissing acolytes, his voters, that human life has to come first. Every human being I know -- except for a couple of Trumpers I keep in contact with out of a morbid curiosity -- every real human being I know understands that: human life first, wealth second.
Yet 60,000,000+ of us applaud the president and his inhumanity. 60 fucking million. The Dixie Chicks were black balled by these fascist swine because they admitted to being ashamed of a president who lied the nation into a war the killed more Americans than Osama bin Laden and more than 100,000 Iraqi civilians (the ones we were "liberating".) I go them one step further and say, flat out, I'm ashamed of America, of what America has become, and of what, in a quieter way, it has always been. Totally ashamed. |
