1. Wall Street gets 4 trillion out of a two trillion bill?
Where is the four trillion coming from. I know that two other bills passed but don’t even add up to 4 trillion and one was for hospital equipment and things like that.

2. The Fed does this thing.
They buy debt that's on the market and hold it. It keeps the securities market from completely tanking, keeps the financials markets liquid and working.
When they freeze, money tends to stop flowing. No short-term loans, no place to put extra cash. *Then* you have a *real* problem. They did it in 2008/09, as well. There was around $1.5 trillion for stimulus/TARP, and something like $2 trillion put in by the Fed. |

7. Do you have to have filed in 2019 to get a check?
We just moved due to my mother in law getting really sick and having several bad falls. So we sold our land and house to be near her.
There are several reasons for not filing last year, but now it seems like its gonna bite us in the ass. Also my son is permanently disabled and on disability but 22 and still our dependent. Not sure where we stand on getting anything. |

8. It could take you longer. How about contacting your reps office and try speaking to someone
on their staff ? Get their name etc and hopefully build a contact you can rely on for helping you navigate the bill. If you don't have direct deposit already set up for tax returns it could take a long time to receive a hard copy check, as far as I know. BUT, again, check with your congress person and see if they can help. I don't know if there will be anything for people with disabilities, I sure as hell hope so.
Good luck and stay safe. ![]() |
