Anyone interested in registering your support, just text "USPS' to 50409 to sign the petition.

She also sent info about an effort to save the USPS without government intervention by getting everyone to buy a sheet of stamps online at USPS.com (forever stamps cost about $11-13 a sheet/roll).

My wife and I signed petition and bought stamps this evening. The nice thing was the Post Office site said because of high demand right now, orders for stamps would take a few days longer than normal to be delivered. Awesome!

Please do your part. We can beat these bastards!

U.S.A. to Aunt Deborah 20 unpaved miles into the mountains north of OnlytheUSPSKnowsWhere, U.S.A., 3 thousand miles away, is the best buy and most amazing thing to be found anywhere.

One of the things we chose was the new Earth Day stamps, which are also "forever" stamps, meaning they'll always be standard first-class postage no matter how rates rise.

to mail a couple of things. I noticed more people buying stamps than usual. I was too slow to figure out what was going on and buy a sheet myself. Next time I go I will do so.

And you can order online, avoiding crowds.
