Anyone else having trouble

Getting through to their bank to check if stimulus payment has arrived.

Called this morning and it rang and rang, no answer. Now when I called the number, there isn't even a ring it just cuts off after a couple seconds. What is going on?

Plus if you're ringing a Bank branch most likely that person is working at home and the phone system isn't set up properly to forward the call appropriately.

and have had no luck. I also tried the IRS tracking thing earlier this morning and went through page after page of questions only to find out I may get a $192 refund on my 2020 taxes. What the hell is that about?????

Transferred some funds around to ensure the grandkids would get their portions in their accounts and to set up what was going to go to charity.
Would have been 0730 EDT, so most people would still have been at breakfast or getting ready to light off their laptops.

House-spouse checked 15 minutes ago to get his account balance, and couldn't get through "due to the high volume of traffic".
So, it's probably going to be a bit wiggy to get through for the rest of the day.

such as transfers or automatic deposits. Don't know if your bank gives you that option.

I get my SS deposit on the 4th Wednesday of each month. I am kind of expecting not to see it until the 22nd.

are just maintaining a skeleton crew for people who must come in for crucial paperwork. Probably a drive-through person and a manager would be my guess. Would therefore require a lot of patience to get through on the phone.
