"If the House will not agree to the adjournment..."

"If the House will not agree to that adjournment, I will exercise my Constitutional authority to adjourn both chambers of Congress. The current practice of leaving town while conducting phony proforma sessions is a dereliction of duty." -DT 4/15/20 WH Daily Briefing

would request that all of Congress and Senate convene in Washington D.C. to save our Constitution and our Democracy.
Business will be done and no judicial appointments will be approved.

El Presidente does not seem to be much of a fan of the Constitution, he seems to think he IS the supreme ruler of America.

If the Dear Leader does not respect it, how is he going to be compelled to honor it? We have a dictator now.

Article 2; Section 3; Clause 3

"...he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper;"

There is no disagreement between the Senate and House about adjournment, everyone of our Congress critters is all too happy get out of DC at every opportunity. Let him try to claim otherwise and see which nice lady opens a can of whupass all over his lardship.
