came up with saying they care about mental health? Aka corporate profits. And they are all buying in. Dems should write up some gigantic bill for mental health/suicide/addiction prevention and see who signs on.

I gotta say Cruz has convinced me.
I’m putting down the bottle, throwing out the pills, and quit scribbling circles on the walls. Picked up the want ads and am lookin’ for a job

As a matter of fact, Mr Lake is concerned for all the withdrawal symptoms our dog will be having when we leave.

3. suicides during recessions is a legitimate concern. but the numbers are small compared to covid-19.

we don't have anything close to 2,000+ daily suicides during recessions, and if they actually cared, they could easily dig up the numbers.

looting curtailed in any way. Maybe people will wake up because of this. How many are going to accept being financially ruined while seeing the wealthy get even farther ahead? With all they have taken the last 40 years or so, they could just write a check to cover every dime of the damage and still be the richest people around. They would just be a little closer to the pack, but never have to cut down on their lifestyle one bit.
