Floridians now allowed to piss at one end of the pool from 6am - 11am, 5pm - 8pm.

Because, hey, federal stockpiles and blue state tax money goes to the badass red states, anyway.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8229933/Beaches-Florida-start-reopening-EVENING.html

Neighboring St Johns County announced that its beaches will also be open from 6am to 12pm, seven days a week, under similar restrictions that only allow exercise.

Most other Florida counties have kept their beaches closed in a bid to stop the spread of the virus. Beaches in Glynn County over the state line in Georgia have been open since April 3 for exercise only...

On Friday morning, the head of the Centers for Disease Control, Dr. Robert Redfield, indicated that the first openings might come at a local level rather than a state level.

Curry said he is letting the public back onto Duval County beaches because he is 'encouraged' by the rate of infections and hospitalizations and said there is evidence they are flattening the curve.

He gets around, seriously.

I'm only joking. I'm not a Florida hater. I'd love to go back one day when I have more time for a proper visit. I just love joking about Florida Man.

Sometime Florida deserves some criticism for sure but not with this. Funny some are applauding Washington for opening parks. Hmmmm. I just think every state should be treated in a fact based treatment. Florida is great but like every state has its negatives at times.

Who says the rest of the state is looked at badly? Only those who think its governor should be on top of reopening.

Do you think the governor should be in charge of what reopens? Keep in mind that Florida is going to be the next epicenter of cv after New York flattens.

see how ignorant, corrupt and immoral the government is and ask "How in hell did those idiots justify voting to put such a stupid person in charge?"

Floridians have to ask themselves the same question about DeSantis that the rest of have to ask ourselves about Trump: "Why are we allowing this sick and deadly farce to continue?"

Down at the bottom of the state (where it is blue) we are sheltering in place during the day and on lockdown with curfews at night - and these folks up in red counties want to open up beaches? This makes me so mad!

In a state that inflates its testing numbers and renames its causes of death, with retirement homes it won't even name, nor their death rates.
