Support local businesses

With your stimulus.

I purchased a few gift cards, I donated money to the food pantry and to a shelter and I purchased a share in a local CSA. I still have stimulus money left and I've put money into locally owned businesses and into groups that desperately need the help.

(I also donated $10 to Biden like the current meme suggests.)

What will each of you do with your stimulus?

Is this Tuesday. I thought it wasn't until mid May.

I did donate $50 to a national chain. The manager at our local was taking donations for gift cards which she has an officer hand out at a homeless encampment. With less places serving free meals our community needs the help.

That I donated at just one national chain because the manager is taking donations for gift cards for our local homeless community. Places serving free meals have dropped dramatically so this helps. Officers hand out the cards at t hff e encampment and a couple of volunteers go there on weekends at different times to bring donations. While there they get gift cards and take orders, then pick them up and bring them back if needed.

I gave some on the if come to Feeding America when my former employer offered to double match to three charities. Traditionally they only match donations through their foundation. Biden will get some Senate candidates will get some. List is fluid at this point. I know many don't have that luxury. That's my plan though.
