“In interviews and public statements, a half-dozen members of the task force said they only learned about Kemp’s move to let barber shops, theaters and dine-in restaurants begin to resume operations after he made it public.”

She knows that people will be afraid and business will likely be slow. She said, if they are open, landlords will be expecting rent. They won't be able to pay rent with just a few customers.

Should anyone be surprised?

I will skip the manicure and the full-body massage for now.

And cut my own hair.

And still wear a mask.

And wash my hands.

And use curb-side pick-up to support my favorite local restaurants.

And avoid trying on new clothes (or even going into a clothing store).

And keep social distancing.

It isn't that hard to stay safe.
