Republicans treat Trump like he is the crazy uncle in the attic.

They don't want to talk about him. They would rather talk about anything but Donald Trump.

Some Senator was just on the TV and was chiding the host for bringing up Lysol and the President. He said we can talk about how we are going to beat the corona virus or we can talk about "Lysol". They want to pretend the elephant in the room is invisible.

They must have gotten orders from above? Don't talk about Donald Trump, whatever you might say. Keep him out of the conversation.

As if it doesn't really matter who the leader of the country happens to be. They can ignore whatever insanity comes out of the White House.

But, it is not possible. The president is the leader of our nation. We cannot continue to pretend that what he says and how he acts does not matter. You cannot lock him away in the attic until the next election is over.

Republicans need to take responsibility. Their "bad government" game is over.

With their re-election hopes decimated by the Corona virus, it is impossible to ignore him anymore.

My uncle had a real reason to be "crazy". He had PTSD (then called battle fatigue) as a WW II Battle of the Bulge survivor.

In the late 1950s, we were all gathered at a 4th of July family picnic. Everyone enjoying their activities UNTIL someone lit and toss a string of firecrackers. TO EVERYONES surprise our uncle dove under a picnic table face down and covered his head. Once the bangs stop he had to be coaxed out from under the table.

We never again allowed firecrackers at any 4th of July gathering. The "crazy uncle" never got over loud unsuspected noises. Otherwise, he was just plain old Uncle Francis.

Trump is an evil chickenhawk coward period!

Now every GOP senator save Romney has this brown stuff flying in their face from the proverbial fan every time Trump's name is mentioned.

No amount of back peddling saves them if a reporter reminds them Trump fired the pandemic team from the NSC two years ago.

Republicans have no vision or plan for the future except how to increase their bank account in the next 6 months. Now the nation is suffering.
