He is a loathsome person. States and Local governments are trying to keep people as safe as possible and we have a President and AG who is trying to sabotage and undermine those efforts. I can't believe what we're seeing here!

Suppose they make the case that social distancing and shelter-in-place directives violate our civil liberties. Down the road that could come back to bite them, if/when they get a hankering to make it even harder to vote, or if they try to impose martial law. There'd be a precedent saying that kind of stuff was unconstitutional (not that precedents would matter....).
