No, I think Amash would make a wonderful candidate, especially since he is way behind in his district and has no chance of maintaining his Congressional seat. He almost always votes for the Do Nothing Dems anyway. I like him even more than Jill Stein!

(42,637 posts)only the late Walter Jones was lower. 10 Democrats had higher Trump scores than Amash. Henry Cuellar, in a safe Blue district, voted with Trump and the Rethugs almost 70% of the time. with a huge +36% higher net than his district predicts. Sinema, before she won her seat in the Senate, was the only other House Dem over +17.5% in terms of predicted score, with a net of +26%, as she voted with Trump 62.6% of the time even though she too was in a safe Blue seat.
